The story follows Link, a young man who lives in a land above the clouds called Skyloft, where knowledge of the surface below is all but lost. Said art portrayed a silver girl with Link, and numerous visual cues coupled with hints from Shigeru Miyamoto led fans to believe she was the Anthropomorphic Personification of the Master Sword. Prior to the game's official announcement, a single piece of concept art was released to the public in 2009. The game was officially announced at E3 2010 and released in November 2011 for the Nintendo Wii. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the sixteenth game in The Legend of Zelda series.
